The charity compilation album '...and darkness came' released at the end of last year in order to benefit all of those affected by Hurricane Sandy, raised $20,000 for first several months, and all the proceeds already were donated to two charities: Doctors Without Borders and The Humane Society. In addition, another $10,000 will be donated in January of 2014. The funds are also going to charity organizations that are supporting people and animals in places like Bangui, Syria, and Philippines where Typhoon Haiyan attacked. Anoice will participate in the unplugged music event 'Switch', which will be held at Sonorium, a concert hall in Tokyo on 8 November 2013. Our shows will be performed by only two members, Yuki Murata (piano) and Utaka Fujiwara (viola), as we believe it is the best way for Anoice's music to be perfomed in a venue with such good acoustics. Three videos which of piano improvisations performed by Anoice’s Yuki Murata and Takahiro Kido are now available to watch on YouTube. These pieces were recorded in a ruined hotel on 29 May, 2013. One of them was performed only by Yuki Murata, another is darker than the first. The third piece is a four‐handed performance by Yuki Murata and Takahiro Kido. You can find that the sound of the broken piano that remained at the lobby of the ruined hotel, echoes throughout the hotel.

We has just uploaded the new video which was recorded at Anoice's concert on 17 March. Though we usually perform our tunes by piano, viola, guitar, bass and drums, the male members didn't participate as the instrumentalists this time. Yuki Murata, the pianist of Anoice, re-arranged all tunes for this concert. We think it the outcome was really good!!
